As convenient ready-to-drink products, the standards for bagged beverages are crucial for ensuring product quality, safety, and consumer rights. In my country, the production and sale of bagged beverages must strictly adhere to relevant national and industry standards, covering multiple aspects such as raw materials, production processes, hygiene indicators, and labeling.

From a national standard perspective, bagged beverages typically comply with GB 7101-2022 National Food Safety Standard for Beverages or specific category standards, such as GB/T 21733-2008 Tea Beverages and GB/T 10792-2008 Carbonated Beverages (Soft Drinks). These standards clearly stipulate the classification, technical requirements, inspection rules, and packaging labeling for beverages. For example, microbial limits, the scope of food additive use, and physicochemical indicators (such as pH value and sugar content) must all comply with national standards to ensure drinking safety.

The standards for bagged beverages also involve the safety of packaging materials. Because flexible packaging (such as aluminum-plastic composite bags, PET bottles, etc.) is used, the materials must comply with requirements such as GB 4806.7-2016 "Plastic Materials and Products for Food Contact" to prevent the migration of harmful substances. Furthermore, labels must clearly indicate the product name, ingredient list, production date, shelf life, manufacturer, and applicable standard number for easy consumer identification and oversight.

Regarding industry standards, organizations such as the China Beverage Industry Association have also formulated specific standards for different sectors, such as sports drinks and plant-based protein drinks, further refining quality requirements. Companies also need to obtain ISO 22000, HACCP, and other food safety management system certifications to improve the standardization of their production processes.

In short, the implementation standards for bagged beverages are crucial for ensuring product quality and consumer health. Companies should strictly adhere to national standards and industry regulations, and regulatory authorities should strengthen market inspections to ensure that every bag of beverage is safe and controllable from production to consumption.
